Dr. Yoo is a psychiatrist, therapist, and bioethicist who believes in compassionate, personalized mental health care. He is dedicated to building trusting, collaborative relationships and creating an inclusive, affirming space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. Frustrated by the rushed and impersonal nature of conventional psychiatry, he founded his private practice to offer a more human, thoughtful approach—helping clients navigate life’s challenges with clarity, support, and hope.

Dr. Yoo earned his M.D. from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed his psychiatry residency at Rutgers. He also holds an M.A. in Bioethics from Case Western Reserve University, where his thesis focused on patient autonomy and the ethical complexities involved in healthcare decision-making.

Dr. Yoo is licensed to practice in both New Jersey and New York and is fluent in English and Korean.
